Quality of pecans

I’m not sure the staff was honest about the 5 # bag of shelled 1/2’s I bought on 11/9/2025 were “new crop.” It seemed funny to me that I couldn’t get a sample to taste and the young man who was trying to help couldn’t tell me what variety the pecans were. I did buy, but would not again.
